:P Sorry, had to keep you all guessing at least for a moment!

No surprises. Excelled at HT, DD, DTS, loved the HDCD reproduction, etc...they were astonshed at how quite it was...low noise floor. They did some tests with the gain ALL THE WAY UP and said and it was DEAD quite! And then went further onto saying that this "quiteness" really helps to improve dialogue reprodution in movies. Also did some 2-channel tests, and boasted of it's surpurb power supply...they tested it against another preamp that costs 2x as much and said it just fell a bit short in soundstage depth and transparency but weren't too surprised given the cost difference (sorry don't remember which preamp...but I had never heard of it so it was a definite "high-end preamp.")

In short, they said it was another quality product that offered outstanding performance at blue-collar prices! 8)

How about: A crocodile cannot stick its tongue out.

Or: A snail can sleep for three years.

Perhaps you didn't know: Dueling is legal in Paraguay as long as both parties are
          registered blood donors.

But I'm sure you don't know: Elephants are the only animals that can't jump.

          :P You asked! :P
