Better? Its better if you want to turn everything on and off from one remote. I've never had any trigger problems, and use it daily.

            The trigger Song

The most wonderful thing about triggers,
            is triggers are wonderful things.
Their tops are made out of rubber,
their bottoms are made out of springs.
            They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
            Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about triggers is,
            Rotel gear has one.
            Oh, Rotel gear has one!

Oh, the wonderful thing about triggers is,
            triggers are wonderful chaps.
They're loaded with vim and vigor.
They love to leap in your lap.
            They're jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy,
            Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about triggers is ...
            Rotel gear has one.!

I had one glitch with my Rotel 1095, I send the signal out of my Pioneer Elite 81.
Everything was fine no problems - I was moving wires around back there, but never touched the amp or trigger wire, but amp stopped turning on... switched the switch to off, and had it on constantly, then came back later that night, trhew it to the on position again, and everything was fine... not sure what the deal was there...

First time I have heard about trigger / Tigger issues... but I haven't done any reading as far as this goes...
