            for $56, thats a steal. its not bad build quality considering the price. i mean, toroidal, decent heatsink, not bad layout. i would get one, but i need another project like i need another hole in my head.

                  I like how they describe it as a "Home Theater Receiver" when it's actually a stereo receiver. Just because you can hook your TV up to it. :lol:

                  Looks like a halfway decent beast though. If you really want a good stereo receiver though, go on eBay and snag something that was made in the 70s or early-mid 80s. They don't make 'em like that anymore...

                    no im on my way to get the rotel pre and 1080.... was just to keep me entertained yesterday.... im thinking about filling it with loose change and shaking it like a maraca and seeing what happens 8O

                      I'll agree with you on the old stereo receivers. Provided they're a good brand, they are better. My mom went garbage hunting(garage sale) and picked up a Technics SU-V707 stereo receiver for 10 bucks and sounded a whole lot better than what she was using(200 bucks new a few years ago).
