If your an old timer in audio, you probably heard his name before, maybe you even met him, knew him, or broke bread with him. He was a well known poster at AA, a manufacturer of fine cables, consultant to Parasound, an audiophile and tweaker savant, and it seems a friend of most all that knew him.
I don't know any details of how Bob is gone. I only know what I read at AA.
His web site for cables is still up, though Bob's carefree style was never about marketing. I think he had like a 1 page site.
I'd call Bob's system a labor of love. Feast your eyes in envy of what Bob had while he was on this earth- It's intense, as Bob was I bet.
RIP Bob. I never knew you, my loss I am sure.
