Mounting speakers to a suspended ceiling

Does anyone know of a speaker mount that will hang monitor speakers from a suspended ceiling? IF I choose a 7.1 config there will not be a rear wall close enough to the listening position to mount the 2 rear surround speakers. So that leaves speaker stands (not preferred) or mounting the rears to a suspended ceiling.

Actually you can use any wall mount for that purpose but what I do is use nuts, bolts and spacers instead of the provided wall screws and anchors. :wink:

However, you'll need to choose wall mounts with extentions so that you can position the speaker properly.

When you find your brackets you can lay a 1"x4" or 2"x4" piece of lumber or even a 6" wide or so piece of plywood on top of the grid to screw into.
